John has done my taxidermy for over three decades. If you want your mount to look "alive" and be something to be proud of, then go no where else. John has a "gift"! Fur, feathers, or scales...it doesn't matter...YOU WILL LOVE HIS WORK! Others I have sent to him have raved about it as well!! I even took a mount done by another taxidermist before I found Authentic Taxidermy, and John made it live and look like it should have in the first place! I do not like to recommend businesses to others, but Authentic Taxidermy is one of the few exceptions I make to that rule! John is a fair and honest person who is truly a master craftsman at his trade! I CAN CONFIDENTLY GIVE HIM MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION knowing that you with truly love your mount when it is finished. My office is full of his work! The WV deer pictured here were all done by John. He is even better with fish...a master with the air brush...
John did an unbelievable job on my drake wood duck, and I got it back sooner than expected. Look no further for quality taxidermy.
John was recommended by a friend of mine for waterfowl mounts. So I decided I would try him out, I took him 10 ducks thats right 10 and I'm glad I did !!! He did a fantastic job on the ducks and habitats. If you take him great birds your going to get great mounts. Thanks John excellent job!
If I could give it zero I would. The way he treated me as a customer Was just awful. I would text him and ask how the mount is doing and he wouldn’t respond. Finally he told me it was done and sent me a picture. It looked nothing like my fish. I asked him if he could repaint it. So he did and said he’s not repainting it again ( it still didn’t look like my fish ). I asked for my money back and he didn’t give it back. I would recommend not doing business with this guy at all. Unprofessional , rude , etc.
Amazing work great guy to work with very honest and humble
Couldnt of asked for a better job! My Guinea pig looks exactly how she did and it was an emotional moment to see her again. Some of the best work I've seen!!!
