What can I say? Jesse is the man! Treats every animal that comes in his door as a trophy no matter how big or how small! Had my ram done weeks before the deadline and kept communication with me either by texts or phone calls through out the process. He was super helpful on teaching me how to prep the animal in the field as well as other animals I plan to hunt. I’ll definitely bring all my animals to Dahlberg’s to get mounted!

By far the best taxidermist in the state of Alaska, Probably the whole US honestly. From turn around time (12 months or less) to quality, he doesn’t disappoint. Dahlberg’s taxidermy is owned and operated by one person who puts a lot of time and effort into making your animal come back to life. He does an excellent job at preserving the natural look of the animal to ensure you receive it exactly how it would look in the wild. His mounts are put together with high quality products that are sure to last for a long time. None of his mounts fell during the earthquake, so that should be enough to show the quality and durability he ensures the mounts will have. If you are looking for an honest, reliable taxidermist who can also discuss logistics, how to cape the animal, let you barrow a scalpel and some blades, or just talk about old and new hunting stories with, Dahlberg’s Taxidermy is the place for you. Jesse Dahlberg is absolutely top notch. His mounts are unique and very life like. The quality and finish is perfect. He does a lot of educational and how to videos, as well as supporting youth hunting. He works like a dog and the turn around time is the best in the state. Jesse does phenomial work and I would recommend him to anyone. Not only is his taxidermy and artistery on point but he provides educational videos for fleshing and preparing your taxidermy work for the best mounts. My Texas whitetail arrived to his new home in south Ms in pristine condition! Jesse utilized Alaska air cargo and custom built this crate for my deer to go in with plastic wrap to keep all debris out but able to see there is a mount in there in hope the cargo handlers respect the box more. His attention to detail really brings the animal to life and embodies exactly how a deer or any animal should look naturally. My experience with Dahlberg’s Taxidermy was great from start to finish 13/10 highly recommend!
