Just had go GET my ice. Priorities. That was an easy order. She s so nice,though!
Really poor quality work. Totally disappointing. Only whitetail I have ever had a shoulder mount. The eyes are terrible. The form has a big flat spot on the front. Looks nothing like my deer. He took it back to "fix " it. And just painted the gobs of epoxy around the eyes lighter. Then he offered a refund if I gave it back to him so he could re use form. Unbelievable. Terrible work. Terrible customer service.
Nice enough person. Below par work. Sloppy finish work. My sons deer looks good enough when you walk by but stop and look and it looks like it was done perhaps by someone in there first session of taxidermy school. Not even a good one at that. We had a fantastic non typical buck mounted and am somewhat ashamed to have people see it. Maybe some have had quality work but ours looks like a rush job.
Headhunters Taxidermy did an excellent job for my biggest buck to-date and my girlfriend's first deer. It was a great experience, very timely, they helped us through the process, and produced fantastic work! We discovered him through Kuby's Wild Game Processing in Dallas, and even got to pick up the mount at Kuby's itself. Very convenient and truly wonderful work, we definitely suggest using Headhunters Taxidermy for your next trophy!
If you value your trophies do not take them here. I took 4 ducks and a pheasant to them and am beyond disappointed with the results. They look terrible. The lack of care in his work is very apparent. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here, on top of shotty work he is overpriced.
If you have any kind of value on your mount this is not the place you want to take it. I dropped off 3 heads at same time and I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. The eyes and mouth looked terrible. I gave him a chance to make things right but he didn't not. Taking him to small claims court. 8/8/21
