In Nov. 2018 my wife harvested her first archery deer on public land, a massive 10 pt that will likely qualify for P&Y. We decided to take it to Herndons for mounting, but it's been almost a year and haven't heard anything from them. I've called at least a dozen times and no answer, left voicemails and no return calls. Now the number is disconnected it seems. I'm considering going to his house and knocking on the door, bc my wife is devastated and I'm starting to think we will never see that deer again. The irony is that Herndon is the newly elected Sheriff of his town, so filling a police report seems pointless. Go elsewhere with your trophies people!
