You'll pay a little more here than some places. However, you have to pay for quality work. These guys do beautiful work. Their attention to detail is astounding. I will be back.

I don't normally do reviews but after looking at my deer hide from 3 years ago I wanted to post this. They did a great job and that was my first time using them. It is still in great condition.

Best in St. Louis. My family couldn't be more pleased with the bass we have had mounted here over the years. In fact, one fish they did has lasted 40+ years and still looks great. Recently, we asked if it might be possible to "fix" a fish that had been mounted elsewhere 30 years ago. The skin had completely deteriorated and the fins had broken. Again, the original mount was not done by Schwarz, we asked them to repair another shop's work. Frank went through all of the options with us and asked if he could give it a shot to paint the old fish. See for yourself the before and after. It is simply amazing. Best of all, this work was done for my father who is in his 80s, and this repair has brought him unbelievable pride and joy during a period of time and life when joy is a bit lacking. His trophy bass are one his major life achievements (this is a 9.6 lb Missouri Hall of Fame bass from 1986!) and now he is assured that his legacy will live on when he passes them down to his grandson. Frank, thank you. We are in awe of your talent and it was a pleasure working with you. Thank you also for fitting this project in during the busy deer season and returning the fish promptly, knowing that mattered to my dad. You have made an old man and his daughters very, very pleased. He thinks his fish is "just beautiful" and he's grinning ear to ear showing it off once again.

I can't express how thankful I am of this taxidermist. For the past 2.5 years I've been having issues with another taxidermist in the area trying to finish my deer, and eventually it led me to picking up my deer (hide and antlers) and bringing them to Schwarz. They were able to finish the job in less than a month with exceptional work. The price is well worth the professionalism

1967 my husband killed a deer weighing 214 lbs 4 oz and had head mount done . Schwartz Stuido done the work . It wasn't like now days . They used the actual head to mount . And it's just as beautiful today as it was in 1967.

I got a deer shoulder mount done with frank. I couldn’t believe how good it looks! I can’t even explain it. It looks more alive than it did before i pulled the trigger. Thanks!!!

They do outstanding work they will back up. More than willing to touch up your mounts if they age poorly for unknown reasons.
