OtteaTaxidermy

We took this nice buck to otteas this past November and it turned out beautiful. Just moved back to the San Anton area last year and I was glad to see Ottea still there. Last time I use them was 30 years ago and they still do great work. Of course I’ll be using them again.

The only taxidermist I will use and continue to use for all of my mounts. They do a fantastic job mounting and the workmanship is excellent. I have had multiple mounts done by them and they have all turned out perfect. They might not be the fastest turn around but there is a reason…they’re busy and take the time to do it right. 1000% worth the wait. Can’t wait to do business with them again!

We went to drop off my son's first deer. The man that we spoke with was very helpful, he helped me decide what pose to put on the mounts and and let me show my son some of the stuff they had in different areas of the shop so we can get an idea of what to expect. The mounts they had on the wall were really nice looking and looked like some quality work. I'm looking forward to seeing my fox and my sons deer when they're finished. They have really good prices and had a variety of animals they were working on. We saw mountain lions, bobcats, whitetail deer, moose, elk, turkey, snakes and a few other things that I'm not sure what they're called.

I can't say enough good things about Ottea Taxidermy. Kristen and Jared always take the time to chat whenever I visit and are incredibly helpful. It's rare nowadays to find taxidermists who not only do incredible work but also genuinely care about their clients' ideas and suggestions. They are open to discussing different options and offering their professional input, making the whole experience enjoyable. I trust them completely with my projects and highly recommend their services!

Going to Ottea is a loved tradition to get our deer meat processed and our capes mounted. They are all awesome at what they do and it's worth the wait. I have nothing but great things to say about the work done with taxidermy it's part of our hunting experience and would recommend them it's worth it to even talk to them and the excitement of the season you get to talk to other customers it's awesome.

Super friendly people at Ottea taxidermy knocked it out of the park with a home run again. Quality of service, attention to detail from processing my deer to the taxidermy to show it off. I highly recommend them. This is my second time and I can’t wait to see them next year if not sooner.

Best deer processing in town. Love that they have an after hours meat locker drop off.
