Scavenged Parts Antiques + Oddities

So I've worked near this place for nearly 3 years and had no idea until my coworker told me about this oddities shop a couple months ago I've been in this shop a couple times, the owners are nice people, and this establishment has a wonderful variety of wet specimens, insect specimens, vintage items like jewelry and old Halloween decorations etc.. Although I do have a question I've bought a few wet specimens from this store and recently I've noticed this one wet specimen(snake specimen). I had purchased. has begin to have a green hue to it within its orb and I've been wondering if that was normal or not, if not how could that possibly be fixed? 😅

This place is so cool. We walked in and was immediately emerged in a feast for the eyes. The space is very full, but currated in a very shoppable way. Lots of really awesome pieces to look at. We were attending a special art event so they had a back room with a contemporary art show, with snacks & refreshments. We were shopping on a budget but we found 4 treasures to add to our collection that were comfortablly in our price range. Also scouted a couple of pieces that I want to save up for. Prices seemed really fair. We also met the owners and they were really nice to chat with. The place seems inclusive and kind. It was clean! We will shop here again, and i would recommend others stopping in as well.

Incredible shop! Beautifully curated, impeccably displayed, fantastic items one after another. We spent 45 minutes looking, reading and enjoying. I have a long wish list, lamps, bones, art and more. I will be back. Highly appreciated and recommended!

Scavenged Parts has become my Go-To spot for wet specimens! I’ve always adored diaphonized specimens and to learn there was a local artist that made them in house was exciting! They have a wonderful array of items that I’ll surely pick up for my growing display. Attached to this review are my purchases from this location and I cannot wait to seek more from them. very interesting nick nacks, nice authentic jewelry, good music, decorative and something very fun to do in your free time with friends and family. great for presents for loved ones for their birthdays, christmas, valentines, etc. 10/10 would recommend, will come again.
