Paintings created by local artists of the finest quality. They also have sculptures, a taxidermy service and a small gift shop. This is a spot you visit and won't forget later.
Had an Antelope done. Overall very happy with the results. Quality of work was great and the pricing is fair. Everyone was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I don’t get where some of the negative reviews are coming from other than some people just cant be pleased. Thank you Animal Artistry team I will be back!
I recently had a sheep mount done here, and I am extremely disappointed with the results. I truly wish I had listened to fellow hunters who warned me that Animal Artistry’s quality has gone downhill. The face on my sheep looks terrible, the stitching is sloppy, and overall the craftsmanship is nothing like what this shop used to be known for. What makes this even more upsetting is that this sheep was likely a once-in-a-lifetime hunt for me, and the quality of the mount feels like a complete disservice to the animal. It’s heartbreaking. I even joked to my husband about the "$15 off for a review" card they have up front—saying it felt like they were buying positive reviews. Because lets be honest who's going to leave a bad review then ask for the credit . After seeing my mount and hearing about others’ recent experiences, it doesn’t feel like a joke anymore. It really makes you wonder how many of the glowing reviews are genuine. Unfortunately, I will not be returning here, and I can’t recommend this place to others. This shop used to produce amazing work, and I don’t know what happened, but the quality today is nowhere close.
We have taken 3 deer to Animal Artistry and have had amazing experiences each time. We have been impressed by the quality and attention to detail on each one. Not only did they treat us with respect but kindly gave us tips to capture pictures of the deer before we cape it. They also gave great advice to help our buddy keep the velvet on his newly harvested deer. Overall, I cant say enough great things about them.
I recently had my antelope taxidermied here and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Stewart did an incredible job with the mount. He really took the time to capture lifelike poses and make sure everything looked perfect. Carley and Millie in the front office were just as great, keeping me updated and making the whole process smooth with their excellent communication. From start to finish, I felt taken care of and the final product is outstanding. Highly recommend!
My husband and I have used Animal Artistry in the past and the mounts were good and we were pleased with them. However, this time the experience was horrible. We went to drop off a few antelopes that my husband and friend harvested and was met by Stewart from the receiving side. He usually is very professional but this time he had the most condescending attitude with us about what things and his customer service was extremely poor this time. Additionally, my friend has never skinned an animal before and made a few errors and Stewart was extremely rude to him about it and he had my friend go talk to the skinning team there (who were actually extremely nice to my friend on what he should do next time and to make sure the cape had enough length.) Then when my husband and I went to go talk to the billing person regarding some of our other mounts there, the lady who does the billing charged us for things that we should not have been charged on like a split skull repair which none of our animals had a split skull and the charge was unnecessary. The business has gone downhill since Mr. Boyce passed away and its sad that this once great company has been left into the hands of people that are ruining the business. Will not be returning there and will not recommend Animal Artistry no more for the way they treat people now and the overcharging.
Fantastic experience all around. Stewart’s customer service was outstanding, Carley and Millie kept communication smooth and friendly, and David did an incredible job on the mount. My life-size bear turned out beautiful and was finished faster than expected. Highly recommend!
