North Country Skull Works Taxidermy

I dropped off a bear pelt 1 year ago. He said it would take till June to finish and he would send me an email when ready. He never responds to communication attempts. I paid him $250 up front and now it's Sept of the following year. He has never emailed me anything. This guy has some issues apparently. Funny because he seemed so honest and straight forward when I met him. Don't be fooled, Look elsewhere.

I brought this guy a coyote pelt to be fleshed and tanned a year and a half ago paid him half the money $90 I got in touch with him about two months ago he said it would be a couple more weeks due to the tannery being backed up from covid. I've tried calling and leaving voicemails with no returned calls. I would not recommend his services. I thought this would be a person I could trust as he worked with my wife driving school bus. I guess that's what I get for thinking. I had to give one star to post review but his business isn't worth one star.

Takes far too long, no communication, doesn’t respond to communication attempts, when he does is full of excuses. In fact after almost a year of having my buck skull for a euro I ended up picking it up unfinished due to the above and finding multiple reviews on other sites stating similar experiences. The only thing worth the single star I had to give to review is the idea that it will help someone else make a better decision.
