I don’t generally leave reviews. But figured I’d share. I turned in a healthy buck and doe about a week ago. After getting them processed so fast. On one deer they lost the sweet meats and on the other it was only ~1/2 a lb. . Then from the two deer I received a mere 56lbs of meat. Usually it’s around 80-100lbs from most places. Depending on how they cut and trim, plus the deer size obviously. But they were typical deer and that’s what I typically get following the 48% rule. They seem like nice enough people but when I asked about the lost meat they said, "it happens 🤷‍♂️ and it depends on who’s cutting the deer." It wasn’t in relation to my shot. One was heart the other liver. I debated taking the tenderloins out myself and now regret not doing it. So take that for what you will, I heard mixed reviews when I asked around so my mistake. Also, I didn’t read the reviews and this has happened to others.

I used to go to Mast meats and they did a great job. When Mast closed I was worried I would have to process all my own deer. A friend gave me some venison from OTWGP and it was great. I've brought them 3 deer this year so far and they have done a great job. I would recommend the hot breakfast sausage. I can't wait to try the summer sausage with cheese and Jalapenos. They work hard long days to try and keep everyone happy which we know that isn't possible. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Outdoorsman Processing. All the mounts and hides in the show room look great. I just need to kill a big buck so I can I write a review on their Taxidermy. (UPDATE) Been bring my deer here now for 4 years and they have only gotten Better. Brats and snack sticks are awesome. Cant wait to try Italian sausages. Hopefully the hotdogs soon. They do an amazing job! (UPDATE)2025-2026 Season Still bringing my deer here and referring others. The Chorizo is awesome and I finally got a buck that Im having them Mount. Cant wait.

Dropped off a deer for a shoulder mount. After numerous calls they said it had been delivered. I told I had never received it. So after 7.5 years I finally got my mount back. I would not take them anything ever again and I highly recommend no one else does either.

They produce good meat products, high quality, and excellent service and attention to detail.

I dropped a large buck off for processing and they did an amazing job with the meat. Turn around was quick. Everything is properly sealed and frozen. The sausage and summer sausage taste fantastic. I’ll be taking all my deer to them in the future so nothing goes to waste. I really can’t say enough about how great of a job they did or how easy they were to work with.

Disgusting and criminal. Paid a deposit of over $1,200 for a full mount on a trophy bear and received nothing over 4 years later. Calls to the place have ranged from 'who are you' to confusing me with having been with some another hunting party. Other times, it would take weeks to get through to anyone. The owner's 'finance' apparently ran off on him years ago and he blamed her leaving him and her boy for his own mishaps. My buddy is still getting the run-around on his shoulder mount and has nothing to show for it all these years later. He never got anything and also lost his money. This place is unprofessional, deceptive and unethical. When I read the negative reviews describing poor work, missing pelts, fault-blaming etc. it was too late.
