Choosing a taxidermist for once in a lifetime animals is a long process and after meeting Jon with a recommendation from our PH we decided to ship them down to New Braunfels. From the beginning the communication, updates, and progress pictures were OUTSTANDING! Their customer service is unmatched in the on industry. To the final products I’m convinced Double Nickle Taxidermy is one of the best in the WORLD!! The quality and artistic capabilities of their taxidermist are simply remarkable and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We are SO HAPPY we chose Double Nickle and Jon Wilson to capture memories that will last a lifetime. Great people and great work! They've done 2 of my whitetail mounts and currently have my bobcat. Very happy with their work. BEST IN THE AREA for sure.

Easy access off of the interstate. Great showroom. Front desk people were very helpful. They require payment up front for euro and antler only mounts. All others are 50% deposit, balance paid at completion. I have taken several bucks here for euro mount and am very happy with the quality of work.

I have been going to them for 5 years now and I am never disappointed. They do great work, are reasonably priced and are just a good group of people. Extremely nice, communicate well and have a very fast turnaround. They have done both shoulder mounts and European mounts for me and I am always happy with the end product.

I used to go here for years but not anymore. They don't treat loyal customers like they should I took countless deer here before they moved with no problems. Now it's like they are to good for their older customers. Last deer I took I was a $1 short and they wouldn't just let me pay that when I picked it up. Now they have to have the whole thing paid for up front wasn't like that before. Could pay some now and the rest later when picked up and they have on file stuff that you brought in the past so its not like they didn't know that you haven't pick up or paid before.The prices have gone through the roof , had a hide tanned the hair just fell out they didn't do it right and just had issues and blamed me. Go somewhere else I will never go back here again. They should have treated a loyal customer better , oh and their not in New Braunfels its almost in San Marcos.

This place is terrific! I’ve used them multiple times and have always been very satisfied with results. The staff is amazing and the prices are reasonable. Also check out their online sales, have gotten some great things..
