Really blown away by some of the negative reviews here. I literally had a shop right next to these guys for over 5 years they no joke get stuff dropped off almost every day. They also do amazing work on everything you bring in and at least in my case when the hide already had a tear in it or some other damage they were immediately up front it might get worse in tanning. They also don't tan it themselves to my knowledge so they aren't really responsible for that process. Because of the volume they get you're going to have to remind them about your stuff and if you just go in and ask them to look for it I've never had something stay lost. It might take a few visits but they've never been rude or unhappy to see me and always make me feel welcome while they look through their inventory. The guys shop is literally full to the top with stuff so instead of accusing him he sold it just go help him look. Because your stuff is taking space he really needs. Like I said I've worked next to these guys for 5 years and have been bringing them anything that needs work in that time. Great work and honest just more work then one guy can handle so you'll have to go in.

Bruce does great work , on my Deer and the Bear rug he did great, unfortunately on my elk antlers, my cape, with a deposit, and my own Styrofoam I dropped off to him just before he moved into his current location, he must have missed placed every thing, Bruce never notified me of the move, or that my antlers were gone, after I found out he had moved to a new location. I went and left my business cards at his new location on two different occasions nobody was there, he never got back to me, he just kept avoiding me, I finally got a hold of him about a year later after dropping my stuff off to him he kept telling me he would find out where everything went and get back with me, I pretty much gave up on it, I should've stuck with the persistence, I ran into him again a few years later at a friends house he did some taxidermy work for, he still never had any luck finding my antlers but he would doublecheck again, I called a couple months ago just to see if he would make it right, it had been way too many years, whoever answered the phone pretty much told me I was SOL I asked to please have Bruce call me. Still two months later no phone call, I finally got his cell number I called and I also sent a text, he is avoiding my calls. Hopefully leaving this post Bruce will make it right for what my loss is.

Do not drop off your mount. My mount has been "lost" for 2.5 years. They don't care and won't make it right. They say it has never happened before but looking through the reviews it seems to be a regular occurrence. I don't know how it can be misplaced or lost. It would have to be there somewhere. Or did it get sold to someone else.....no idea and they don't care to figure it out. Very dissapointing to lose something you work hard for.

One of the best taxidermist out there. Not only is he one of the best but he also has some of the best prices. I asked him why he doesn't charge what other high end taxidermist of his caliber do and he said he wants to make it affordable for anyone to get their trophies mounted. That's says enough right there.

I have no idea what’s up with the owner. I dropped off a rare mountain goat, and his communication just completely dropped off after he skinned it. Like, how do you just do that to people who trust you with a rare fur? I’m assuming it was sold and I never heard anything about it.

I came in with a bird spider. I've never had any taxidermy experience before. Bruce was very nice through the consultation and explained the process to me. Highly recommended
