This is the letter I had sent him after I terminated our business relationship: I am writing in response to your recent Google review and the threatening text messages I received from you. I take customer satisfaction very seriously, and it has always been my priority to ensure open and honest communication throughout the process of completing a fish reproduction. While I understand that waiting for your piece may have caused frustration, the accusations of theft and dishonesty you made are completely false. I have been in consistent communication with you, and I was just about to begin the painting phase of your reproduction when your review and texts occurred. As a professional with 40 years of experience in fish reproduction taxidermy, I have built my reputation on integrity, hard work, and a passion for my craft. I would never cheat or steal from a client. Due to the defamatory nature of your comments and the threatening tone of your messages, I have decided to terminate our business relationship effective immediately. I cannot and will not work with customers who behave in this manner, as mutual respect and trust are fundamental to the services I provide. I wish you the best in finding another taxidermist to complete your project. Sincerely, *It's a shame there are people so malicious, demeaning, immature and abusive. Just a few more weeks and I would have had his mount finished.

Definitely the biggest waste of money I have ever spent! I wish I could show pictures of my incomplete fish reproduction that was mailed to me today. The artist promised me many things in the last 2 1/2 years to include pictures along the way, and a finished piece by dates that kept changing! One of the many lies that was told to me as a customer was when I asked for my money back in 2023. At that time, I was told that money would not be able to be sent back because the blank was already ordered. I was surprised when Buck reached out to me in September of 2024 (more than a year later) to state that the blank just arrived, and the piece would be started right away and finished soon. I have a record of text and emails where these lies and all this information can be verified. He even tried to trick me by sending me an email stating that the fish was going to be ready and that he would be shipping it out soon. I guess his hope was that I would open it and be surprised and very disappointed by no work finished with a mailed blank. The problem is, I already had assumed it would show up blank or with nothing in the box at all because of the constant excuses and lies that were told to me over this lengthy period of time. The dates of the finished product kept changing, and the most frustrating part of all of this was, the lack of communication through the entire process. As a teacher and a parent, I do not have a lot of money to lose on people ripping me off! Now that I’ve spent money and lots of my time to have a blank delivered to my house unfinished because he got frustrated of his inability to finish and complete work that was promised. But true colors are always shown in men and in the end a delivery of a piece that is not finished, let alone even started, speaks to who Buck is as a Taxidermists and a human. Lesson learned I guess? The lesson here is do not trust people when they cannot produce evidence of work and who have already been paid prior to work completion. This will cost me even more money and time with a reputable local Taxidermist, who can verify and communicate with me how the piece is going. I am more than happy and willing to spend that money, knowing I can get an actual piece that is finished and promised to be completed within an open yet given timeline by the Taxidermist. I have some taxidermy animals in my house and have used Taxidermist over three different states and I’ve never seen such an issue such as this. I have friends who use Taxidermist for their trophy’s and they have never heard of this issue that I went through.I would be very very careful of this Taxidermist shop and definitely not use Buck for any taxidermy unless you want to lose money and time and get a fish blank delivered to your house as a statement of his frustration instead of communicating with his customers, more effectively with truth. Well sir your statement is loud and clear. Money taken and zero work completed after 900 days of waiting. Congratulations Buck on my one of a kind fish reproduction.
