Dan's Taxidermy & Wildlife Art

I recently met Dan and had a chance to view his shop. It was immediately obvious that he takes a lot of pride in his work. His attention to detail is second to none. While there, I saw that he made European mounts that included the full jaw. This was new to me and I knew that I wanted my buck done in this style. Included are three photos that show the quality of my mount. My photos don't do the mount justice. Hopefully, I'll continue to harvest nice deer and Dan will continue to work his magic on them. As a new coyote hunter I was unsure of how exactly to handle the pelts, what to do with them, etc. and Dan talked me through the process, options and costs and discussed trapping and hunting with me. He is a genuine person who want to help everyone understand and enjoy the outdoors.

Dan is simply the best I've found for plaque and euro mounts. Well worth the price! I haven't had any head mounts done but his work looks fantastic at the shop. Turn around time is great. Attention to detail is what will keep bringing me back. I'm planning on having him re-mount at least two of my current plaque mounts I had done in Iowa. Give Dan a call and visit his shop. Dan is the guy! He was a wealth of information for my kids they learned so much about Wildlife and the outdoors from his studio! We truly appreciate him preserving a piece of our treasured family!

Dan met me at his shop as I had a special request for a bluegill mount for my wife. I brought the driftwood and he had a bluegill all ready for me. He mounted it on the spot and did a fantastic job! It looks great and it will be a great surprise for her birthday! Thank you Dan!

Dan's legit. He does really nice work. I've had a few European mounts done and they turn out great every time. He thinks about the little stuff that turns a good mount into an awesome one. Something as simple as the angle of the mounting of a skull to the base to best display the antlers, he thinks about it, discusses it, and executes what you discussed. Highly recommend him. The examples of shoulder and full mounts in his shop are impressive as well.

My experience with Dan was great! My first skull mount fell off a shelf recently, shattering into a bunch of pieces. I didn't think I'd be able to get it fixed, but Dan went out of his way to help me repair it in a very timely manner and it looks awesome.
