Old Barn Taxidermy Open Country Colorado

Coming on here to share my experience several years later. I dropped off a sage grouse for taxidermy in 2022 and picked it up in 2023 and come to find out, it hasn’t been my bird this whole time. I was talking with a taxidermist friend and showing him my sage grouse mount when he pointed out that the bird I received back from taxidermy was not my bird. I thought modifications could be made to the feathers to change colors but he said that’s nearly impossible to do. Extremely disappointed that this taxidermist gave me someone else’s bird. Complete waist of $600. I do not recommend them.

Haven't gotten my hide back yet but they showed me some of their similar work. Group of awesome dudes and fair prices.

Excellent customer service. Detail quality is top notch. Very friendly and helpful. I was having a hard time making it to the shop during store hours and they accommodated my request to pickup and pay after store hours. I would highly recommend these guys.

These guys did great work on my whitetail. After a lot of confusion due to a merger with another taxidermy co. These guys did right by me. They honored the price and did good work. I will use them again.
