I stopped by Haynes Taxidermy with a heavy 293 score set of antlers no skull plate. Other taxidermists said they were to heavy to mount. Not only did Mike mount them a European mount But he did it right away while I watched. Iam so happy my antlers look great and they are ready to wall mount. This past November, my son shot a beautiful buck and was excited to have it mounted. He found Mike at Haynes Taxidermy and couldn’t wait to see his work. Tragically, my son passed away in December. In the midst of our grief, I reached out to Mike to see if there was any way the mount could be completed by June for the celebration of life we have planned. From my experience, mounts often take over a year to complete, but without hesitation, Mike assured me he would have it ready in time. This past week, my wife and I picked up the mount, and we couldn’t be more impressed. Despite the tight timeline, the craftsmanship is impeccable—every detail carefully tended to, with no sign of being rushed. I know my son would have been so proud of how it turned out. Every time I look at it, I tear up—not just because of what it represents, but because of the care, respect, and dedication Mike put into his work. He treated this project, and our family, with incredible kindness and professionalism. He did an awesome job on my shoulder mount. This was the first shoulder mount I ever had done in the 35 years I've been hunting so I was a little nervous about having it done. It was the biggest deer taken off our property in 40 years, but he knocked it out of the park. I am very happy with my experience and will definitely be taking another one to him to get done
