Oracle Natural Science

We happened to walk past Oracle Natural Science while visiting Kansas City, and honestly—it felt like a gift from the universe. This place has everything that brings me joy: gorgeous taxidermy pieces, dried herbs, crystals and stones, beautiful stationery, and the most magical, cozy vibes you can imagine. Inside, it was even cooler than I expected. Every corner felt like stepping into a curated little world—equal parts natural history museum, mystical apothecary, and art gallery. I could’ve spent hours just exploring all the unique items. I can’t wait to go back! This shop is an absolute must-visit if you love nature, oddities, or just really good energy.

This store is magical! So many gorgeous bugs in display, well curated selection of pelts, and beautiful bones. You can tell the taxidermists love what they do and handle specimens with respect. I would trust Oracle to make something beautiful with a beloved pet that has crossed the rainbow bridge. They have pretty stones, a delightful selection of tea, enchanting books, and some of the most unique pieces of jewelry I’ve seen. I also love that they offer some scents by For Strange Women; women supporting women is my favorite business model 💖 I couldn’t resist the Cicada perfume roller! They’ve got kits if you’re interested in learning about bug pinning and other taxidermy work. I also heard they’ve got classes too! Stop in if you’re looking for something different and elegant.

I am so glad my friend showed me Oracle for the first time and it was absolutely whimsical in there and a perfect place to pop in! This store is for people who like taxidermy things, in which they do almost everything from mammals to reptiles to insects and more, or they even have some witchy things too. Every corner I turn was something new or just absolutely beautiful to look at, it felt like I could be in there for hours just to look at all of there taxidermy art work! The staff were super sweet and very informative for every question you had, they were very helpful. I had such a great time there, I highly recommend this store!

As one could imagine, it was extremely anxiety inducing to leave my sweet girl with any one after she passed. Jade was my soul kitty and it devastated me to lose her. However, I am so glad I chose to trust Alessandra with her. It takes a special individual do what she does, with the care, love and attention to detail she has for her craft. She did an amazing job taking care of my girl and I couldn't be happier with the result. She was patient and helpful with me through my indecisiveness and was completely on board when I did finally settle on something and made my vision come to life. I will cherish my memorial and am beyond grateful to have it. Thank you ❤️

Super cute and magical witchy shop. Has a variety of ethically sourced taxidermied animals, bones, stones, tarot, jewelry and the alike. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Extremely fun place to browse and find something new!

I loved this place! So many cool things I could look at everything for hours. The lady behind the counter was very knowledgeable and friendly, and all the specimens were beautiful and well taken care of. I also appreciated that while there were expensive pieces for sale, everything was reasonably priced and there were items in all price ranges making it very accessible. I highly recommend checking this place out!
