Texas Hunt Lodge

Texas hunt lodge is a 10/10! Jake, Mark, and Justin were fantastic guides! They did a great job start to finish, from guiding to setting up taxidermy and meet processing. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The lodge and rooms were beautiful and clean. The food was amazing! And the hunting was great! Will definitely be back for more. Definitely made memories that will last a lifetime!

Got my mount back today and it turned out awesome. Was down here just over a year ago. Was my first time doing a hunt like this with a guide and I enjoyed it way more than expected. Staff and all the guides were great and the food was delicious. Had some minor issues in the taxidermy part but Jordan helped us out and made things right for us. I'd give it 5 stars for just that alone. Thank you Jordan and rest of the team for a great hunt and memories.

I cannot say more good things about Texas Hunt Lodge! My dream hunt was to harvest a big aoudad ram, and after months of looking through options, we decided to come to Texas Hunt Lodge. From the minute we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The people were kind. The hunt was amazing and fun. We were able to harvest our rams and mine was the ram of a lifetime. The food was unbelievable. I cannot recommend Texas Hunt Lodge enough. If you have been considering them for your hunt, you will not regret it!

My husband took our daughter and I along with him to the Texas Hunt Lodge this week and we loved our experience. My husband Dustin had two successful hunts with our guide Jake who was excellent at his job. He is very proud of the monster Blackbuck he got on the first day! They also allowed me and our daughter to ride along the second day to see some animals. It was absolutely beautiful! I'm also so grateful to have experienced this with my husband because he decided to hunt a Catalina Goat. We all were quite surprised that our daughter fell asleep and stayed asleep through the shot. If you see the picture you can see that she is still sleeping in my arms. The lodge was very comfortable and accommodating. Lisa the cook took care of us for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with some of the most delicious food we have ever had! She even made food specially(not spicy) for our 1 year old daughter. We enjoyed everyone's company and felt at home. It's safe to say we will continue to visit this lodge. I definitely look forward to my first hunt here as well as teaching our children here in the future!

Went for the first time on a guided hunt and to shoot an exotic. From booking, to coordinating with office staff, to the hunt, to payment, it was all easy and smooth. My guide Justin was absolutely amazing. He knew the who’s, what’s, when’s, and where’s. He showed me around and got me on what I was looking for. I was able to take an amazing Scimitar Oryx. Justin even took me to a local market (or you can take with you) to get my animal processed and set me up with a taxidermist. He recommended quality places that were not overly priced. The lodge and accommodations are outstanding. You can bring your own firearms or ask about renting one, if you’re from out of town, or don’t have the caliber for what you’d like to hunt. They have gift certificates you can buy to give to people as well. Also, they have a small store inside with gear to purchase. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Have almost anything you’d like to drink. Cooks on staff with delicious meals served. Nice rooms to stay in. I couldn’t have asked for any better service and the place is beautiful. If you’re looking for an exotic hunt, I’d book here. I will definitely be coming back for another hunt. Check them out and ask for Justin to guide you, you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience. Justin (our guide) gave us quite the adventure on both of our hunts, working his tail off to deliver, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Plus, the hospitality at the lodge made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. They feed you very well, and Lisa (their cook) is an absolute gem. We were sad when it was time to leave, but we'll definitely return in the future. Can't wait for the next adventure!

My two teenage daughters and I had a wonderful time with Jordan and his team. Marc was an amazing guide and worked well with kids and had a lot of patience. Accommodations are top-notch and the food was amazing. Cannot thank the team enough for a very memorable trip
