What a work of art! We couldn’t be happier with this small mouth bass that Doug put so much time and creative energy into for my son. Best part, the fish lives on like he wanted but he’s still able to show off his catch. Great rates as well!
This was my first fish mount, I’ve wanted one since I was young. Easy enough to get him the information needed to start the mount. Great family, great work, and it was faster than expected. My Coho Salmon came back looking like it did when I pulled it out of the water. Any and all future business will come straight here.
Doug was awesome to work with! He was prompt and professional in all my communications with him. He finished my fish in about 3 months which was much sooner than expected. He was good to send updates and pictures as he worked on the fish. The fish turned out awesome, incredible lifelike detail! I would highly recommend him, I won’t be taking my fish to anyone else!
Our 6 year old grandson caught this 27 inch walleye in the St.Joseph river. We found Murphy’s Taxidermy on the internet and was very impressed with his work. We had a replica made for our grandson. We were impressed with how well it turned out and his price was very reasonable. The replica was completed much quicker than we expected which was a bonus. We drove the 3 hours north to pick the fish up and met the guy who did the work. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. Overall we couldn’t be happier with his work and will use him in the future for our mounts. Very good quality of work!
There are taxidermist and there are artists this was my first time working with Doug and I have to say I am glad I found him, I’ve had numerous work done from other taxidermist but was not very happy with the end results of there work. After having my steelhead done by Murphy taxidermy I have to say it’s about time that I found a person that is very very very good to detail. Doug thank you very much for everything you are truly a professional with everything you do. We will be doing business for a very long time.
