Dropped off a buck on 11/8/2022. Got the call that it was done 10/23/2025. Just shy of 3 years. Was told it would be 12-18 months when I dropped it off. Started calling for updates in February 2024 and every time was told that it was almost done. The son of the owner called me back after one of my calls in early 2025 and berated me because I was calling too much. I won't deny that the mount looks good, but 3 year turn around is completely unacceptable. The poor customer service is insult to injury. I will never be back.
Joe has done quite a few ducks for me throughout the years .. just finished up with a hooded merganser. Every time has been outstanding craftsmanship. I mean he has been doing this for nearly half a century.... Highly recommend!
Dr Jekyll to start with but when you want your stuff back they turn into Mr Hyde. I know why they only take cash when when you pick up. They the opposite of customer service. They even threatened me over nothing and tried to charge me for storage. These two guys are nothing but bullies with a Napoleonic complex.
I dropped off (and paid for) 3 hides to be tanned back in February of 2022. It is now July 2023 and I am still getting the run around from these guys saying they haven’t gotten them back from the tannery… after a year and a half…
I've had many things done at this shop, I can't explain to you the top notch attention to detail product that they produce coming out of this taxidermy shop. I recommend this shop 10 times over.
