Schott Taxidermy & Wild Game Processing

Dropped my deer off and got it processed in a little over 2 weeks. Which I was very pleased with the service, the packaging and everything. Roy was very professional and walked me through everything, and they delivered on the processing. I will definitely be back!

Told them I was studying and in a hurry. The gentleman working got my meat processed and grounded within 30 minutes and had me on my way. Cool place. Will be back.

I should begin by disclosing that neither I nor anyone in my household hunt, however we have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of product and packaging from Schott Taxidermy. We had received over a half-dozen cuts and preparations of venison from a friend who was moving across the country and couldn’t take his season’s bounty with him. We received it deeply chilled and have spent the last two years searching recipes and savoring the results, since venison is not in our normal dinner rotation. Each cut was very well sealed, and not a lick of it was freezer burnt, despite our failing to remember the gold in our freezer! I especially enjoyed the breakfast sausage—the seasoning blend was spot on and made the perfect biscuits and gravy! Thank you Schott Taxidermy for all of your excellence in processing, and when we come down from Austin we’ll be sure to make a stop at the Market for more gold!

Had two gadwall ducks mounted and they did an awesome job! Very pleased, next harvest definitely going to have Schott Taxidermy do my mounts in the future. THANK YOU!

Used to get great work done here. Last two critters had visible stitches where the hide was not cut, last deer shrunk while he was there. Processing has now split, Mike and gang has opened up closer to town on 16.
