I WAS BORN AT HOME, ON A FARM, IN SULLIVAN COUNTY TENNESSEE. MY SON IS IN FBI THERE AND MY SISTER STILL LIVES IN SULLIVAN COUNTY. I LIKE TO REMINISCE EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE AND CHECK OUT THE PLACES I USED TO GO BEFORE I CAME UP HERE AND MARRIED IN 1986. THE PEOPLE THERE ARE STILL GREAT, AND MY TWO SON'S ASK ME, "WHEN AM I GOING TO LOOSE MY SOUTHERN DRAWL". I TELL THEM, "YOU CAN TAKE A GIRL OUT OF THE COUNTRY, BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE THE COUNTRY OUT OF THE GIRL!" THEY ACCEPT THAT. THEY STILL RESPECT AND DO AS I TELL THEM TO DO. THEY ARE 47 AND 50. JUST AS I DID MY MOTHER BEFORE SHE DIED.
