Trophy Transport

So this place is now run by highways and skyways. They suck. They're not in any hurry. I got here for a 1300 appointment and they just started loading their 1100 appointment. If you're an owner/op, do yourself a favor and keep looking.

Overall bad experience and I won’t be using their services again. In March-May 2024 Trophy Transport shipped my deer shoulder mount. The mount did NOT smell at all prior to shipping. Either at their warehouse or in transit Trophy Transport sprayed my mount with a strong citronella like chemical with similar odor. My mount still has a strong odor 7 months later and I cannot display my mount in the house because of the strong odor. My taxidermist said any steps to remove the odor is likely to result in hair slippage and ruin the mount. Trophy Transport’s response to my smell damage complaint was "We have not sprayed any mounts in our warehouse in months because we the taxidermists do. We ask all taxidermists not to spray when we are coming because the drivers do not like the smell. I am the only one that sprays them and that was for permanent storage not staging and we have stopped permanently storing for customers. I can reach out to the taxidermists but we do not due to other items in our warehouse. I will touch base with the taxidermist and be in touch. I will also talk to my teams." No follow-up or resolution was ever received. My mount was sprayed by Trophy Transport and now has to be stored in the garage. I am giving two stars because their upfront communication, pickup, and drop off was good, and my mount was not physically damaged during transport.

Worth the wait and worth the price. Won’t find better open air shipping. Drivers knocked it out the park and communicated perfectly.
