Jake's Taxidermy

I got a bear rug done by Jake. The face looked ok but the hide was terrible. He trimmed way too much off. The bear looks like he is doing a superman pose. With its arms pointing forward. When I had skinned the bear I was able to skin the bear without cutting the front arms. Basically tubed it, with only cutting the back legs and peeled the rest of the body. So that the taxidermist could cut the front arms perfect for the rug. There was no rubs or fur missing on the bear and no reason to cut that much of the hide. Very disappointed, it's the worst bear rug I have ever had done.

One of the best taxidermists in Utah, and an even greater guy to work with. I get way more compliments on Jake's work than any other taxidermy work I have displayed. He is honest, fair, and works quickly to get your trophies back to you. I would and do recommend him to everyone I know.

I have shot a lot of animals and have several mounts of deer, elk, moose and big horn sheep. Jake is my taxidermist of choice now. He has been mounting my stuff for 5-6 years now and does incredible work. If you want quality then look no further.
