Ma's Bait & Tackle

What the hell? So awesome! We stopped at Ma’s today and we have never been treated so kindly. It was our inaugural walleye fishing trip on the Wolf. We needed minnows, but only had our in-boat live-well bucket. The owner helped haul water from his livewells out to our boat so they would live without a shock from the cold river water. Honestly, above and beyond! We will be back!!!

Dan at Ma's is the best. He's just a great bait shop owner, doesn't count his minnows like other bait shops, and happy to help you figure out where to catch fish. I'll never go anywhere else.

Best vape shop in the area. They do not skimp on minnows or count them out one at a time. I will return there every trip

Great place to get live fresh bait, from a variety of different minnow selections to grubs, Earth worms and even leaches. Was quite impressed with the tackle selection as well. So many jigs to choose, prices very fair and agreeable. There's also an adorable tom cat to keep you company while you search around. 5 stars all the way around :]

Love this place!! Local flavor with expert fishing advice. I learned that the proprietor is also an expert taxidermist. You should see his work! Great resource in a great location. 👍

Highly recommend! Knowledgeable about fish, tackle and the area in general. The gentleman was very hospitable and made us feel like we walked out with everything we needed. Support small, local businesses!

They have great minnows, nice size for fishing, and lots of different type lures They stay in touch where the fish are biting and what kind of fish you may be able to touch.
