Tim is the best in the biz. A true artist of his craft. I've taken three deer to Young's Taxidermy, and they are all top notch mounts.

Hands down the best taxidermist I've found. You can tell Tim and his guys truly care about making the mounts as lifelike as possible without charging an arm and a leg. They're getting all my work from here out, and I have no qualms recommending them for others. The detail they put into their work shows their passion for what they do. He's very straightforward and on-time with his schedule.

Giving someone a 1 star review NOT based on actually working with them is lame. Tim has been our taxidermist for 10+ years and continues to impress with his artful and anatomically accurate creations. Would only recommend him. Salt of the earth.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I contacted this business asking whether they do anything with pets, because I honestly don't know what search terms to use. I figured a taxidermist would have the skills required to preserve fur and clean bones, or that they might know better search terms or be able to recommend someone to me. I explained all this in my message, explained that I have a pet that I will likely have to put to sleep soon. And the response I got from Tim Young was an unsigned email that just said "Not interested." I realize that most people looking for taxidermy are probably hunters bringing in trophies that they don't have an emotional bond with, but that doesn't mean that you don't at least want to work with someone who has the human decency, not to mention professionalism, to answer inquiries a little more kindly. If you're looking for a taxidermist who will treat you with respect, this is not the one for you.

Got a set of moose antlers mounted when nobody else around was able to do it. He did the work quickly, inexpensively, and well. He was nice enough to let my son tour his facility as well.

Tim does exceptional work! Mount is still in excellent condition 13 years later.

I have know Tim for well over a decade and his work is amazing. It takes a true artist to make the mounts look lifelike. Can't go wrong here !!!
