The Terrorium Store is a wonderful and facinating shop which sells a wide range of thriving plant, lush terrariums, taxidermied mythological creatures, interesting books, decorative candles, beautiful artworks, polished minerals, handmade jewelry and amusing gifts. The staff is dedicated, knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the shop. For anyone searching for unique gifts, this is a good location. My roommate and one other friend adored their gifts. Visitors can find trinkets, bright artworks, ink-patterned skulls, moss-based wall decorations, handmade curiosities and natural goods throughout the shop. Additionally, the staff allows for extremely photogenic pictures within the shop, when asked politely. They also offer information regarding local community classes at a different site, teaching guests a range of preservation and artwork techniques. Parking in the area is quite easy. There's space behind the brick building and additional spaces on Yates street. Visitors who are visiting Berkeley Park or Tennyson Street are within walking distance of the shop. Visitors to the shop can pay with card, cash or digital pay. This was my favorite local discoveries upon visiting Denver this week.
This is my happy place. Love all of it, the plants, the specimens, the staff, and the EVERYTHING. Plan on spending an hour to look at all the amazing things. Showcases local artists so it's a great place to get one of a kind gifts for those hard to buy for people. I personally don't recommend bringing small children. There is so much you want to look at and they get bored. Also lots of breakable things. Lol Their prices are absolutely reasonable (they could probably ask more) and the variety is stellar.
The Terrorium Shop is truly one of Denver’s hidden gems. Every time I visit, I feel like I’m stepping into a world where nature and curiosity meet in the most beautiful way. Their plants are always vibrant and thoughtfully curated, and the oddities they carry feel like little pieces of wonder waiting to find the right home. I recently purchased a beaver skull from them, and it’s become such a stunning and meaningful addition to my space, both fascinating and grounding at the same time. You can tell that everything here is chosen with care and passion. Their Instagram presence is also fantastic. I love being able to keep up with their latest finds and plant arrivals. It makes me feel connected even when I can’t stop by in person. The Terrorium Shop is so much more than a store, it’s an experience for anyone who appreciates the beauty in the unusual.
Omg this place is so cool! I was looking for carnivorous plants and they have all kinds! I spent more than I wanted to but I don’t care and will be back!!!
We stopped into The Terrarium Shop in Denver during our elopement trip to Colorado and found the most amazing cauldron planter and a gorgeous Cebu Blue Pothos to take home with us. The whole shop was filled to the brim with magic, with lush plants, unique taxidermy pieces, and all kinds of mystical trinkets. The vibe was pure enchantment, and the customer service was incredible, friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. Definitely a must-visit for any plant lover or witchy soul passing through Denver! 🌿🔮✨
This is by far one of the best oddities and curiosities shops I've been to, and they sell so many amazing plants, as well! This is one of my local go-to plant stops. They have witchy stuff and crystals, taxidermy, jewelry, decor, a DIY section, bones, specimens, plant care supplies... the list goes on! This shop is so cute, one of my faves, and the staff are all SO nice! Definitely recommend checking it out whenever you're in the area. Also, Rune is the shop snake, so say hi when you stop in!
Beautiful shop! Healthy plants, plant supplies, stained glass, art prints, books and taxidermy. They also sell unmounted specimens. Very unique! Found some nice items. Will be back!
