If you took a deer to him like I did. I feel sorry for you. Don't wait. Go get it back from him. It's not gonna be done anytime soon. Over 3 years I waited patiently. Went to get my rack and cape back yesterday. Yes I lost my deposit. A good business owner would have apologized and given me at least a partial refund. He seems like a great guy in person but he will take your money and run. I honestly don't know how he keeps any customers. Use someone else!! Anyone else!!

Like a lot of you, I had to wait a really long time to get my mounts back. About 20 months give or take, but when I finally got them back I was really impressed!!! Just be patient with him, he does all the work himself. You WILL eventually get your deer back and you won’t be disappointed.

If you want your mount back don't take it here, I took the biggest deer ive ever shot about 4 years ago here and still waiting, he just keeps saying he's waiting to get the antlers back from some place called research because my deer had velvet that he was getting done what's worse is i did his plumbing work for his processing building in exchange for half the cost of the mount and payed him rest cash up front, definitely wouldn't take anything here he definitely dose not care about his customers. To do what he did is despicable and worthless of a person

Like everyone else. You dropped a deer head off to get mounted and now it’s been 3 years. I kept getting told 30 days and then 3 months ago got told 2 weeks. Now I get no answer and no return phone call. I have paid in full. Not far from involving a lawyer.

Mr.Ray seemed to be a upstanding person and business owner. I carried him a bobcat this December will make 4 years ago for him to make a bobcat rug to hang on my wall. I paid for the bobcat in full ($400.00). Since then I have called him and received everything under the sun as an excuse. He started that he had to finish up with deer processing and other bigger taxidermy projects,and even had limes desiease . It has been almost 4 years of giving him more time and hearing h is excuses. When he was answering his phone he told me in the next week or two he would be finished with the bobcat. That has been several months ago. Since then he won't answer his phone or text messages. He can talk a good game but he will not deliver on anything that is promised. He is a storie teller (liar) and a con artist. If you want to have your taxidermy item or your money you may need to stay away from Alcovy taxidermy and Ray Knight . Please take the advice and beware .

Do not use this guy for taxidermy. I know of many customers waiting tow to three years and if the call is answered at all, they get the runaround. 4 months ago one customer was told his 2022 buck would be done in August. Since then, no answer at all and no deer. 2023 buck was paid in full, still nothing. CRIMINAL I just took notice of his company name. Alcovy Taxidermy SALES. Yep, he will take your materials and money and never do any taxidermy. This is BS!!

This man is a con artist ! We paid him 750 dollars to repair my zebra rug and he took the money and won’t return our calls . He should be arrested and reported to the better business bureau and I am going to follow up on both ! What a pathetic man !
