He completely screwed me on a mount two seasons ago. He had the deer for well over a year. After several calls he finally finished it. It was the worst example of taxidermy I have ever seen. When I emailed him about it he told me it was all due to tick damage which it did have some but that wasn’t my concern. I had to take it to an another taxidermist who re mounted it with a new cape and form. He said he could not believe someone would pass this off as a good job. He said it was dry tanned and that the hair was already falling out which it was. There was no attention to detail put into this mount. The face was bumpy and rough looking. The only option Jack would give me is to allow him to redo it with another cape and no refund option. Since he screwed it up the first time I didnt see any reason to let him do it again. The ears and eyes and mouth didn’t look natural either. Check out the photo and see for yourself.
Took my fox to him January of 2022 guy said it'd take 6 to 9 months and it's going on 3 years I've called several times and either got his wife who said he'd call me back or nobody at all I asked my mom to call him once and he gave her a bunch of excuses I wouldn't normally be so mad but I got that fox the last time I got to hunt with my dad before he passed away
I’ve had a few fish done by this man, but the one that stands out to me is my chain pickerel.i had landed this fish through the ice and it was in my freezer for maybe 2 months. At this point it had lost its colors, I had my doubts and thought it would be a lost cause but I called jack once again and asked him to work his magic on it. What I got back a few short months later was a excellent mount and it looked alive. It looked as if it was caught that day. ill keep taking fish to this man so long as he keeps doing this lost art. Good job jack!
