Shur's Taxidermy

Stunning, STUNNING work on my beautiful buck. He was worked up exactly the way I wanted. I feel that they truly captured his regal elegance and beauty. Thank you all so very much. I’d also like to add - it took me 8-ish years to finally come pick him up (life). He was well taken care of, cleaned up, and in just as good of shape as he would’ve been if I got him the day he was ready to go. I’m so glad to bring my beautiful boy home and I’m so glad that Shurs Taxidermy is who did this for me.

They do exceptional work at extremely competitive prices. This was my first experience with Shurs and the people were friendly and helpful. The owner made my 2 year old daughter feel comfortable by offering her colors and a coloring book and had my mounts done in quick time. I will definitely be going back to them for future needs.

Took my horns to them today. Really laid back and down to earth individuals. When I worked on a ranch we took all of our stuff to them over 300 items and they all have came out great. They are great and so popular that they're always busy though and backed up on their work. So expect to waiting 3/4ths to a full year to get your mounts back. But for the time they provide quality work! Will recommend anyone and everyone to come here if you need anything mounted!

I can’t say more about the great quality and service at Shur’s. I took 2 whitetails to him this past year and got them BOTH back in 7 months! Outstanding work very pleased. I have had mounts done with an outfitter near SA and I feel Shur’s quality was better. I would highly recommend Shur’s. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Troy and his staff have always been extremely helpful and friendly. I have used them for years, everything from whitetails, Mule Deer, Elk , Nalgai and even a rattlesnake. I highly recommend them. I wouldn’t take my trophies anywhere else. They do excellent high quality work. I point all my family and friends in that direction. Can’t say enough about Tory & his staff, you want quality ART at a reasonable price, Shur's Taxidermy is the place to go.

Would not recommend their services to anyone at all. They have had my whitetail for over 2 and a half years. My buddy dropped his off the same day and got his back at the two year mark. And for the same mount, they charged him $619 but want to charge me $100 more. When I call it keep getting the whole "well it'll be about another month" excuse. All in all, their work is not worth the money or the time it takes to get your mount back.

Not thrilled. The people are pleasant, the work displayed in store is really great. However, we dropped a deer head off my husband harvested 12/01/2015...it's now mid January 2016 & we still have not seen the mount. We've called repeatedly to find out what the hold up is & just get "well, so & so's a little behind...should be another month or so." Same song different tune for over a year & we were initially told six-nine months.
