Mill Creek Valley Taxidermy

I dropped off my deer in November 2024 and was told the turnaround would be about a year due to a car accident he’d been in. No problem—I was patient. He later called me in September to say the cape was back from the tannery, we discussed poses, and he estimated completion for November or December. When I called today for a simple update—my first time calling—he became hostile, cursed at me, and said, "we don’t do updates here." He told me that if I didn’t like it, I could pick up my cape and skull cap and go elsewhere. I fully understand long turnaround times; that was never the issue. The issue is the unprofessional and disrespectful way I was spoken to. This is not how customers should be treated. I went and picked up my cape and rack today. I would avoid this place at all costs. It should be noted that this is the first 1 star review I’ve ever left. But I’m not going to let anyone talk to me disrespectful like that. Learn how to communicate professionally.

First time using Tom for a deer and I am very satisfied with the quality of work. The attention to detail was outstanding especially around the eyes and mouth. I will be returning again

Very nice, I feel that my beloved turtle will be well taken care of and his shell will be nicely preserved when I get him back.

Tom is without question the most detailed wildlife artist in the Tri-State area, a true master of his craft and a straight shooter. I wouldn't recommend anyone else in the Cincinnati area.

We have been going to Tom for years and will never go anywhere else. The mounts you get from Tom are in a whole other league when it comes to quality. It's truly a work of art, and Tom is a master. He has excellent insight and makes great recommendations for the style mount you should get to best display your deer. On top of a deep well of knowledge and expertise, hes also a great guy to talk to and get to know. I cannot recommend anyone more highly than Tom and Mill Creek Taxidermy.
