Luke David Taxidermy

Had a deer mounted here, and he said he would be finished by spring time. There’s no problem in it running late, but instead of being finished in the spring, it was not finished until the following November. When I call to ask about the two horns that were repaired, he not only did not repair them, he lost the paper with the description of how to repair the horns and asked for the second half of the payment for the mount without it being finished to be sent by mail. I told him I would bring it to him in person and show him again how the horns were supposed to be repaired. When I arrive from a 3 hour drive, he says that he won’t repair them and to pay him his second half of the payment and to get the repair done somewhere else because he’s too busy. I was planning on having some ducks done by him because he is good with mounting birds, but after getting this deer and seeing how he goes back on his word, I wouldn’t trust him with anything. Do not recommend at all..

I have had multiple birds mounted by David Luke. Ranging from a black billed capercaillie to a white-tailed ptarmigan and at least 10 different birds in between. I have also used 3 other taxidermists to mount birds for me and, David by far, has produced the most lifelike and given me the fairest price of them all.

David is the most talented in his field that I have ever seen and I would absolutely recommend!
