Been taking animals to Yukon at Tall Tales over 15 years now. He has always has been a good communicator, honest, and timely with his work; not to mention he's a helluva nice guy! I saw another comment alluding to that he may charge a little more than other shops, which I will echo, but the small difference in price is well worth it, IMO. The final product is extremely realistic and something that will hold up beautifully as the years go by. He is currently working on a life-size brown bear for me and I can't wait to see how it turns out!
You will not find better quality Taxidermy in Alaska than this place. The animals are extremely realistic, with great creativity and artistry. But you will also pay for this quality, because it is not inexpensive. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful, and you will be amazed at how quickly the work is completed, compared to most other taxidermy shops. We have had many items taxidermied here, and continue to find the quality to be exceptional.
