After nearly a year in their shop, called for a status of my bear and was told it would be "at least a year and half" and that the hide hand not been tanned yet. Zero communication and very flippant about it all. Like they were the only game in town. So I arranged for transfer to my Utah taxidermist and after making those arrangements was told that my deposit could not be refunded since this was policy (I did in the end get my deposit refunded). In the process of shipping, it was mailed to the wrong taxidermist "because our printer didn't work and we couldn't print the address from the email you sent" - huh??. That was corrected and this is the condition the box showed up at my Utah taxidermist. Thankfully the bear was not damaged. And the rug is being picked up next week!

Drop off of bear hide was easy, shop quoted 18 months, took 12-alaska is busy seemed reasonable. I moved out of state before hide was done. Shop called offered to take to airport/freight vs ups/fedex and did the research for me as most reasonable shipping option. Hide arrived packaged well and looks amazing, super happy with everything.

Russel and his team are amazing, the end results are worth the wait! I recommend Knights to my clients and use them personally for our family trophies! They love what they do and it shows!

I just received my black bear from Knight's. Alysa did an amazing job on the bear. The bear hide was prepared so well that my dogs were on alert thinking they had a bear in the house. Alysa also made sure to keep me updated on everything and made sure my order was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely use Knight's on my next trip to Alaska!

They have had my husband's goat for over a year. We haven't received a status update or any communication whatsoever even though it's going on 2 months overdue. I called to ask about it and the woman on the phone was extremely rude. So I went into the shop a few weeks later thinking maybe I just called at a bad time. Nope. She was extremely rude in person too. I'm not sure if she's autistic or on pills because I'm not sure how a normal person, let alone a normal person working in customer service, can justify talking to another adult in the way she talked to me. She acted like I had no right to ask about the status of our mount. Forget about an apology for no communication and the work being 2 months past due. I would comment on the quality of the work but so far what is happened is we dropped off our goat & $450 bucks and were rebuffed when we politely asked for an update. Perhaps I am in the wrong. Perhaps I should have waited 2 years or perhaps 5 before bothering them with an inquiry. I don't care if it's the highest quality mount in the world when we finally get it, I most definitely will not be returning to this business in the future.
