I brought my beloved pet to this shop in March 2024, heartbroken, and asked them to have him freezedried "curled up like he's asleep." Originally I was told the he would be ready by September 2024. September came and went and I called every week for months trying to get an answer on when we could get him back. Turns out the place they'd sent him hadn't even started the process, so we waited another 6 months. I live out of state at this point so I called and called to make sure we weren't forgotten and was reassured that he'd be ready "soon." We finally got him back in September 2025, an entire year later than promised. He arrived with false eyes, which is not what we asked for and paid $1700 for. I understand that the owner was in a bad accident this last year but to put us through all of the waiting and being in the dark, worried we'd never see him again was torture. When I contacted them again asking why my order wasn't followed to have him look asleep, I was ignored and passed off to multiple people with no answers. I ended up having a close friend take possession and now have to find someone to fix their work on his eyes. This shop might be great for mounts, but I would not trust them with a beloved pet. Photo of him in the red hammock was sent at least 6 times as a reference for the pose.

Very disappointed. I paid a $300 deposit for a Pintail drake I brought in. It was shipped out to an external person, which is fine. But they apparently lost contact with them, I am out my bird and my deposit.

Good work at ok prices. The gentleman working the counter is friendly and prompt. The work does take some time. It was a year for a hide, and a little over that for a mount. The hide had a good finish to the leather side and the hair was in great condition.

I have had several mounts done here they have lasted for decades and look brand new. I am having more done, I wouldn't go any where else, very professional.

I turned in an Oryx for a shoulder mount in November of 2017 and have yet to receive the finished product, despite the quoted time of 10-11 months. I have followed up with the owner via telephone and in person, and each time he says "a few more months." Lastly, I no longer live in Albuquerque and will have to drive from Texas to pickup my taxidermy..
