Dropped a fox off years ago. Took my deposit. Said tanner ruined the ears. Wouldn't give me back my deposit or hide and said that is what it cost him to get to this point so we are even. Would never advise bringing your stuff here. He took over the business and has been terrible ever since. Read ALL reviews before choosing this place. Im not the only one hes done this to.

DO NOT USE JACK'S TAXIDERMY. We dropped off a bass our [at the time] 8 year old daughter caught in March 2021. Tried contacting in September, October, and November - as we realize sometimes these can take upwards 6 months. Finally received a message back in November that Darren got busy with "hunting" season. He didn't even remember what kind of fish we dropped off. We gave a $200 deposit and we are out money. It's now 11 months later and we again cannot get a hold of him and are still out our money. Wish we had read into more reviews when we contacted to drop our daughter's fish off.
Got my buck and it looks amazing. 5 stars for the quality. A little more commination would be great and then I'd give it 5 stars. Recommend Darren and his services.
Called to ask how to clean mold of a bear hide my grampa shot a long time ago... all bs aside try cleaning myself if the skin starts to rip i got my years out of it.. which I'm going to try because gramps died few years ago
Still waiting for my trout and my Sunny to get done going on two years now. He must be very busy.
